August 10, 2021 – A pair of events that will have significant ramifications in the qualifying process for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing will be staged at the RA Centre, it was announced today by Curling Canada.

Earlier this month we announced that the Curling Centre of Excellence will evolve through a multi-year plan, expanding RA Curling Club programming and training opportunities, partnering with provincial and national organizations and events to leverage the creation of a stadium ice experience.

We are pleased to share with you the announcement of the first-ever events to be hosted at the RA this Fall in partnership with Curling Canada. The Canadian Curling Trials Direct-Entry Event and Canadian Curling Pre-Trials Direct-Entry Event will run concurrently Sept. 22-26 at the RA’s Curling Centre of Excellence. Click here to read Curling Canada’s announcement.
